Rooni Mehta has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They began their career as an Assistant Choreographer at India Performing Arts Center in 2009 and later worked as an Event Coordinator at the Federation of Indian Associations. In 2012, Rooni joined Finomus Capital Group as an Analyst Intern and successfully developed processes to streamline loan underwriting and approval. They then interned at Yum & Chill Restaurant Group in 2013, focusing on strategy planning. Rooni continued to grow within the company, taking on roles such as Operations & Marketing Intern in 2014, Operational Planning Intern at Investors Bank in 2015, and Operations Management Trainee from 2016 to 2017. Currently, Rooni holds a position as the Director of Operations at Yum & Chill Restaurant Group since September 2019 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in January 2023.
Rooni Mehta attended Watchung Hills Regional High School and obtained a diploma in 2012. Following that, Rooni Mehta pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babson College, completing the program between 2012 and 2016.
