Melissa Carstens

Melissa Carstens is an experienced professional in the field of marketing and purchasing, currently serving as a Buyer at Yuppiechef since October 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa held the position of Senior Category Manager at Home of Living Brands for over five years, overseeing 16 categories in the Homeware division, driving annual revenue of R40 million. Melissa’s career began at Home of Living Brands and included positions such as Marketing Product Manager and Category Marketing Manager, showcasing a progression from sales administration to senior management roles. Other notable positions include Brand Manager for Merrell SA at Medicus Shoes and Brand Manager for Execuspecs & Eyebar at KFML Holdings. Melissa holds a B.Com in Business Management and Marketing from Stellenbosch University, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
