Ben Hocker

Ben Hocker is a seasoned professional in the field of geomatics and hydrography, currently serving as the Owner and Hydrographer at VanIsle Geomatics and as a Land Surveyor for the Yurok Tribe since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Hydrographic Project Manager and Vice President at Woolpert from May 2019 to February 2023, and Owner and Hydrographer at Geomatics Data Solutions, Inc. from January 2015 to February 2023. Additional significant positions include Lead Hydrographer at David Evans and Associates, Inc., Project Manager at TerraSond Ltd, and Senior Hydrographer at David Evans and Associates, Inc. Early career experience includes roles at Terra Surveys, LLC and Chris Ransome and Associates, Inc. Ben Hocker holds a B.Sc. in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Diploma of Technology in Geomatics from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
