Cesar Herrera

Cesar Herrera has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Cesar is currently the Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Yuvo Health, where they focus on helping Community Health Centers (CHCs) provide compassionate care by leveraging new payment systems and partnerships. Before that, they worked at Healthify as the Chief Solutions Officer and later as the VP of Client & Advisory Services. Prior to Healthify, Cesar was the Head of Existing Business at Zocdoc and worked in marketing and competitive strategy at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Cesar also has experience as a management consultant at Booz & Company and as a program development consultant for the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Additionally, Cesar has worked as an independent consultant at Wallcott Holdings, in investment banking at J.P. Morgan, and as a healthcare policy consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Cesar has a background in healthcare policy and management consulting, with expertise in public sector healthcare clients and hospital and health systems consulting.

Cesar Herrera completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Ethnic Studies and Sociology from the University of Michigan in the years 1999 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master's in Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from 2003 to 2005. Lastly, Cesar furthered their education by obtaining a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business from 2009 to 2011.
