Although streaming platforms have become an integral part of our daily lives, the user experience… well, it sucks.Ricardo Tárraga and Jorge Gonzalez saw an opportunity to enhancethe user experience by providing every streaming platform with a unique design and advanced technology. With the help of Top Seeds Lab, the Lanzadera accelerator, and investors like Demium Startups, Yuvod was born.By 2018, the Yuvod concept was widely accepted by small ISPs and Spanish TV operators. Reputable investors and venture funds were impressed by the company’s growth, its commercial potential, and the team’s execution ability – and invested in capital raises in 2019 and 2021.After two rounds of funding and a lot of hard work by the founding team, Yuvod has grown to a team of more than 50 people with offices in 3 countries and a presence in 8 regions. It is a Google certified partner for Widevine and Android TV systems, and trusted by companies such as Vodafone Spain, Rakuten TV and DAZN.
