Markus Winter is the Founder & Co-CEO of Yuzu Kyodai, a market & design research agency with locations in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Singapore. Markus also serves as the Country Manager at Newby Teas, a luxury tea brand, and as an Adjunct Faculty - Lecturer at Hosei University. Previously, Markus worked as a Researcher in the Innovation Acceleration Group at Japan Innovation Network and as a Japan Delegate for Innovation Management at ISO. Additionally, Markus has experience as a Research Associate at The Economist's business intelligence unit. Markus holds a Ph.D. (ABD) in Public Policy & Trade from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies, a Master's Degree in Public Policy, and a Bachelor's Degree in European Studies from Maastricht University.
