Rubina Abid

Rubina Abid currently serves as an Outreach Caseworker at Workers' Resource Centre, providing support to Alberta workers in various employment matters including Employee Insurance and Workplace Injury. In addition to this role, Rubina has been a Client Services Coordinator at YWCA Calgary since February 2013, where trauma-informed care and case management services are offered to women in transitional housing. Previous experience includes positions as Case Manager at Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, Settlement/Integration Counselor at Immigrant Services Calgary, and Assessment Assistant at Calgary Board of Education. Rubina holds a Post Diploma Certificate in Health and Human Services Management from Bow Valley College and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Karachi University.
