Sewa Singh

Sewa Singh is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in women's support and advocacy, currently serving as a Women Support Worker at YWCA Sheriff King Home since November 2020, facilitating case management for women and children in crisis. Sewa has been involved with YWCA Calgary since September 2014, holding various roles including Client Support Worker, where responsibilities included conducting suicide assessments, crisis intervention, and emotional support for residents. Previous experience includes a Program Officer position at KOICA, coordinating healthcare projects in Nepal, and a Program Manager role at Beyond Beijing Committee, focusing on women's reproductive health rights and gender justice. Sewa holds a Master's Degree in Public Health from Maastricht School of Management and a Master's Degree in Sociology from Campion College.
