Caroline Woliver

Director of Leadership & Social Justice at YWCA Columbus

Caroline Woliver has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Caroline currently serves as the Director of Leadership & Social Justice at YWCA Columbus since August 2019. In this role, they oversee the creation and delivery of social justice programming, community engagement, and leadership development programs. Caroline has developed a curriculum that addresses racial disparities, structural racism, and implicit bias, and has focused on revenue-generating opportunities through education and training.

Prior to their current role, Caroline worked at New Directions Career Center from 2012 to 2018. Caroline started as a Program Instructor & Outreach Associate in June 2012 and later became a Program Manager in August 2013. From January 2017 to October 2018, they served as the Director of Outreach & Program Management, where they managed operations, budget allocation, staff supervision, and strategic partnerships. Caroline provided holistic career development programming to marginalized populations and built collaborative partnerships while increasing brand awareness.

Caroline also has previous experience at Noah's Bark, where they worked as a Manager from May 2008 to July 2013.

Throughout their career, Caroline has demonstrated a strong commitment to social justice, community engagement, and program management.

Caroline Woliver obtained their Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Sociology and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from The Ohio State University from 2007 to 2011. In October 2017, they also received a certification in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Behavioral Health.
