Amy Emerson currently serves as the Manager of Family Services for Early Head Start and Child Care Partnerships at YWCA Metropolitan Chicago since November 2018. Additionally, Amy has been an Early Childhood Consultant for various child care centers since May 2018, focusing on creating handbooks and managing compliance with IDHS/DCFS regulations. Prior to these roles, Amy was the Director of Family Services at Child Care Resource & Referral in Joliet, IL from May 1993 to April 2018. Amy holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Illinois State University, earned between 1989 and 1993.
