Shelby Hawk

Shelby Hawk is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience in mental health services and community support, currently employed at Capital Area Intermediate Unit since August 2018. In addition to this role, Shelby serves as a Mental Health Service Coordinator at UPMC Pinnacle Children's Resource Center, focusing on providing mental health resources to children affected by trauma. Previous positions include internships at YWCA of Greater Harrisburg and LGBT Center of Central Pennsylvania, as well as a role as a Behavior Specialist at TW Ponessa. Shelby's career began as a Community Fellow with AmeriCorps. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Work from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and further studies at Temple University Graduate School.
