Nicole Sutherland

Nicole Sutherland is an experienced professional in the fields of employment counselling and outreach, currently serving as Interim Manager at YWCA Toronto since October 2009. In this role, Nicole provides support to newcomer women, girls, and gender diverse individuals with their employment and settlement needs. Previously, Nicole held the position of Manager and Outreach/Employment Counsellor at YWCA JUMP Scarborough while also contributing to the academic field as a Professor teaching Employment Preparedness at Centennial College from September 2019 to April 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Grief and Bereavement Counsellor at Hospice Vaughan. Nicole holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from York University, earned in 2008.
