Tsering Tsomo

Tsering Tsomo possesses extensive experience in leadership and program management, currently serving as the Director of Employment and Training at YWCA Toronto since September 2008, where responsibilities include coordinating a settlement and employment program for new immigrant women and girls. Previous roles include Member at the Assembly of Tibetan People's Deputies, Executive Director at the Tibetan Parliamentary and Policy Research Centre, and President/Vice President at the Tibetan Women's Association, National Office. Tsering Tsomo holds a Master's Degree in Geography from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Geography from Panjab University, alongside education from Compassion Institute and the University of Toronto.
