Since 1917, YWCA Walla Walla has enriched the lives of women and their families across the Walla Walla Valley. Our core mission is to eliminate racism and empower women through comprehensive services that build safety, strengthen families, and foster community resilience.

What We Do

Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Resource Center: Free and confidential support for anyone experiencing domestic violence or sexual assault, 24/7 crisis response, emergency shelter for women and their children, legal & medical advocacy, counseling, support groups, safety planning, and bilingual services.

Licensed Childcare Programs: High-quality early childhood care through My Friends’ House in Walla Walla for children ages 1 through 6 years and RoseMary’s Place in Dayton, helping children ages 6 weeks–6 years thrive. 

Community & Personal Enrichment: School-based prevention (Mariposa), children’s summer recreation ("Fun Factory"), self‑empowerment workshops, and family support initiatives.
