Brigit Schumacher

Brigit Schumacher has extensive experience in leadership and management within various organizations. Currently serving as the Voorzitter college van bestuur at Zaan Primair since June 2019 and as the Voorzitter raad van toezicht at Stichting SpACe since September 2014, Brigit has previously held significant positions such as Directeur bedrijfsvoering at Hogeschool van Amsterdam from January 2015 to May 2019 and Manager bedrijfsvoering at Amnesty International The Netherlands from 2007 to 2014. Earlier roles include Directeur at Milieudienst Regio Alkmaar (1999-2007), Beleidsmedewerker mileu at Gemeente Alkmaar (1993-1998), and Onderzoeker at SEO Economisch Onderzoek (1990-1993). Brigit holds two degrees from Universiteit van Amsterdam: a Drs. in Economie and a Drs. in Sociale wetenschappen (andragologie). Educational background also includes attendance at Willem de Zwijger College from 1973 to 1979.
