Carolina Fernandes

Carolina Fernandes has been working in the accounting field since 2021, when they began their roles as an Accountant for Libero Copper & Gold, The Slater Group, and Zacapa Resources. In 2019, they began working as an Administrative and Customer Care for the Weissach Group, where they were responsible for supporting the HR department, welcoming and supporting clients and partners, and developing and handling administrative tasks for the company's executives. Carolina also began working as an Administrative for PepsiCo in 2019, where they were responsible for realizing suppliers' payment and assisting in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports. Fernandes began their career in 2007 as an Administrative & Finance Manager and Administrative & Finance Analyst for MAC Logistic. During their time there, they led the modelling, planning and execution of all financial and administrative processes and reports, created a positive work environment which successfully increased employee retention, and led the team that was responsible for a 30% increase in the company's profits within 2017. Carolina also reviewed and consolidated wide range of data and legal documents for financial considerations and key leadership meetings, and was responsible for changing the financial workflow procedures which resulted in a 15% downturn of financial expenses. Additionally, they were responsible for maintaining good relationships and financial communication with more than 50 worldwide partners. Fernandes began their career with MAC Logistic as an Internship Trainee.

Carolina Fernandes is currently enrolled in Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) for Accounting and Finance. Prior to this, they attended VanWest College from 2019 to 2020 for Business Management. In 2017, they earned a Controller degree from Saint Paul Escola de Negócios in Accounting and Finance. From 2010 to 2012, they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in International Business. Lastly, they completed a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo from 2005 to 2009.
