Jonathan Handy has worked in various roles since 1994. From 1994 to 2000, they were the General Manager of Champion Lake Gun Club, Inc., where they achieved a 120% total revenue increase. From 2000 to 2002, they were a Daytrader at Hold Brothers Online. From 2002 to 2007, they were the Chief Compliance Officer & Trading Desk Supervisor at RushTrade Securities, Inc. During this time they were also a development team member for RushGroup Technologies' proprietary software "BackOffice Manager" as well as C++ trading platforms. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Financial Consultant and Quality Assurance Manager at Charles Schwab. From 2012 to 2013, they were the Proprietor of Handy Enterprises. From 2013 to 2017, they were an Account Manager and Relationship Specialist at Archrock. From 2017 to 2022, they were the Sr. Account Manager and Sr. New Business Development Manager at Dragon Products PES, Inc. and Roto-Versal Compression Services. Currently, they are the South Texas Regional Sales Manager at Zahroof Valves Inc.

Jonathan Handy attended Alamo Heights High School from 1981 to 1984, graduating with a High School Degree in General Studies. Jonathan then attended the University of Arkansas from 1984 to 1985, studying Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Jonathan then attended Austin Community College from 1986 to 1992, also studying Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Lastly, they attended Texas State University from 1993 to 1994, again studying Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies.
