Kunal Mhatre

Kunal Mhatre has four years of work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. From 2019 to present, they have been working as a Mechanical Engineer at Zahroof Valves Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston, where they managed a course with an enrollment of 240+ students and conducted lab sessions to teach engineering CAD principles using AutoCAD 2018-19. In 2018, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Apar Industries Limited, where they studied data of previous batches to test the possibility of a reduction in blending time. From 2014 to 2018, they were an In-plant Trainee at Central Railway Workshop, where they gained introductory experience in managing production line of building and maintenance of train coaches, as well as hands-on experience in Gas Welding, Arc Welding & TIG Welding methods and NDT testing methods such as Ultra-sonic Testing for checking cracks in wheel bearings.

Kunal Mhatre obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2016. Additionally, they hold certifications from LinkedIn and Udemy in SOLIDWORKS: Simulation for Finite Element Analysis, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T): Basics, Introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and System Dynamics and Control, which were obtained in 2019.
