Hongbo Zhu

Hongbo Zhu has a strong background in medical writing and medical science. Hongbo is currently the Head of Medical Writing & Medical Science at Zai Lab since September 2021. Prior to that, they held positions such as Head of China Medical Writing at Pfizer from January 2019 to September 2021, and Head of Medical Writing and Regulatory Submissions at Sichuan Kelun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. from February 2018 to January 2019. Hongbo also has experience at Avanir Pharmaceuticals, Boehringer Ingelheim, Allergan Inc, Parexel International, and ApotheCom Associates in various medical writing roles.

Hongbo Zhu's education history includes a Bachelor's degree (BS) in Biomedical Physics from Wuhan University, a Master's degree (MS) in Biopsychology from Peking University, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biopsychology from The City University of New York, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Pharmacology from Cornell University.
