Russell Shao

Russell Shao has a diverse work experience in procurement and management roles. Russell is currently working at Zai Lab as the Associate Director of Procurement. Prior to Zai Lab, they worked at Roche as a Senior Procurement Manager, where they oversaw sales and marketing-related categories and led a team of category leaders. Russell also had an international assignment in Roche's regional office. Before Roche, they worked at Siemens as an IT Lead Buyer and at JLL as an IT Engineer and Purchasing professional. Overall, Russell has a strong background in procurement, supplier relationship management, and strategy development.

Russell Shao obtained a Bachelor's degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Russell later pursued a Master's degree in Project Management from the University of Warwick - WMG. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in CIPS Level 4 from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
