Fawaz al-Homoud

Fawaz Al-Homoud has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Fawaz is currently serving as the Vice President of ERM & Cybersecurity at Zain KSA since December 2021. Before that, they worked at Qiddiya Investment Company as the IT Security Senior Manager from August 2020 to December 2021 and as the IT Security Manager from March 2020 to August 2020. Prior to that, Fawaz held multiple positions at Aramco, including Head of Corporate Red-Team, IT Project Manager, Head of Network Security, Head of In House Application Security Group, Information Security Specialist, and Information Security Analyst. Fawaz also worked at SIPCHEM as a Network & Telecom Engineer from July 2011 to June 2013 and as a Network Engineer I from October 2009 to January 2011. Furthermore, Fawaz gained experience as a Network & Telecommunication Engineer at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company from January 2011 to July 2011. Overall, Fawaz has extensive experience in IT security, network management, and project management.

Fawaz Al-Homoud obtained a Master's Degree in Information Security from the Georgia Institute of Technology between the years 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from Open University Malaysia from 2007 to 2009. Fawaz'sundergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, which they completed from 2000 to 2006. Additionally, Fawaz Al-Homoud has obtained various certifications related to information security from reputable institutions such as ISACA, GIAC Certifications, and EC-Council.
