Malek Hammoud

Malek Hammoud, CFA, is the Group Chief Investment and Digital Officer as well as the Group Executive Director at Zain since March 2017, focusing on strategy and business development. Prior to Zain, Malek served at the National Bank of Kuwait from January 2005 to March 2017, holding positions such as Unit Head of the Corporate Banking Group, where the division managed over $15 billion in assets, and Senior Relationship Manager in the Corporate Banking Group, overseeing a portfolio of large corporates. Earlier experience includes a role as Deputy Manager in the Treasury Group at Sultan Center. Malek holds an MBA from London Business School and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, along with a French Baccalaureate in Mathematics.
