Irv Zakheim

Irv Zakheim has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Irv started their career as a baseball player for the Chicago White Sox from June 1971 to August 1973. In 1972, they transitioned to the corporate world and worked as a Sales Director for Equitable Life until 1974. Irv then took on the role of Director of Sales Marketing for a self-employed venture from 1974 to 1976. In 1976, they founded their own company, Zak Designs, Inc., where they currently serve as the Chairman and CEO.

Irv Zakheim pursued their education, starting in 1967, at LACC, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching. Irv then went on to enroll at California State University, Northridge, from 1969 to 1972, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in PE and Psychology.
