Abdelrahman Barakat

Abdelrahman Barakat is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at Zalando since 2017. Prior roles at Zalando include Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Prior to joining Zalando, Abdelrahman held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Mubasher International from 2014 to 2016 and at Tamkeen Capital from 2013 to 2014, as well as at Wireless Stars in 2012-2013. Earlier experience also includes a Software Engineer role at Mubasher International from 2009 to 2012. Abdelrahman Barakat holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and completed professional training in Web Application Development from the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. Abdelrahman also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology from Al-Azhar University.
