Jarno M. Koponen

Jarno M. Koponen is an experienced Product Design Manager currently leading product design initiatives at Zalando, focusing on AI-driven personalization and customer experience, including the Zalando AI Assistant and Zalando Trend Spotter. Prior to this role, Jarno served as the Head of AI and Personalization at Yle, where innovations in news personalization garnered international acclaim. As co-founder and CCO of Futureful Inc., Jarno developed an AI-powered content discovery app and built a high-performance team, achieving significant funding for the venture. Earlier professional experiences included leading design at Enporia and developing concepts at Aalto University related to predictive simulation systems. Jarno holds a Master’s Degree in Digital Design from Aalto University and a Master’s Degree in Humanities from the University of Helsinki.
