Lilia Panchenko

Lilia Panchenko is a Senior Software Engineer at Zalando SE since 2017, focusing on building backend services to enhance buyer decision-making and successfully transitioning microservices from a monolithic architecture. Prior to Zalando, Lilia worked at PayPal from 2014 to 2017 as a Senior Go/Golang Developer, where responsibilities included developing components for a new archiving platform and serving as Tech Lead and Scrum Master, utilizing technologies such as Scala, Kafka, and Akka while promoting Functional Programming practices. Lilia's career began at Oracle from 2013 to 2014 as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a programmable voice API in Elixir. Lilia holds a degree from Lviv Polytechnic National University.
