Reza Maanijou

Reza Maanijou is a Senior Data Engineer and Senior Python Backend Engineer at Zalando since July 2021, following a role as an NLP and Machine Learning Researcher at UKP Lab, Technische Universität Darmstadt from October 2020 to June 2021. Prior to this, Reza served as a Web Developer and Machine Learning Expert at AVID technology development from 2016 to September 2020, and also contributed as a Graduate member of the Guilan NLP Group at Guilan University from 2014 to August 2020. Reza's experience includes significant projects such as implementing a recommendation system for academic data and developing an expert system for soccer player identification using machine learning. Reza has lectured on Web Programming and Natural Language Processing, and has held various teaching assistant positions, contributing to coursework in programming and data structures. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Guilan University.
