Pedro Alves

Pedro Alves has held a variety of roles in the past decade. In 2010, they began their career as a Scientific Initiation Researcher at Universidade Estadual de Campinas. In 2012, they moved to the Nacional Laboratory of Biosciences _ LNBio/ ABTLuS as a Scientific Initiation Researcher. In 2013, they took on the role of Business Analyst at Kanui. In 2014, they returned to Universidade Estadual de Campinas as a PhD candidate and Master of Science. In 2020, they took on a Visiting PhD Student role at Aarhus University. Pedro is currently a Senior Researcher at Zama, a role they have held since 2022.

Pedro Alves obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2013. Pedro then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the same university, which they completed in 2016. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2020.
