Javier Morales

Javier Morales has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Javier started their career as a Hospital Representative at Pfizer in 1998 and later transitioned to the role of Institutional Sales Representative at AstraZeneca in 2001. At AstraZeneca, they became a Regional Sales and Promotion Manager, overseeing the Oncology and Hospital portfolios. After working at AstraZeneca for several years, Javier joined Pfizer again in 2008, this time as a Regional Sales and Promotion Manager for Vaccines and Nutritional products. Javier was responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies, negotiating with stakeholders, and leading sales and promotion teams. In 2011, Javier joined Novartis as a Regional Sales and Promotion Manager for the Sandoz Oncology and Biosimilars division. Javier achieved significant accomplishments in launching new products and managing the sales and distribution of generics and biosimilars. Lastly, in 2014, Javier joined GSK as a Regional Promotion and Market Access Manager, where they played a critical role in developing market access strategies and tools, overseeing promotional activities, and achieving impressive sales growth and market share for COPD products. Currently, Javier holds the position of Commercial and Market Access Director at Zambon, which they started in 2022.

Javier Morales has a background in marketing and advertising, with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the Politénico Grancolombiano, completed between 1993 and 1998. Javier also has completed several specialized programs, including Strategic Marketing at the Universidad de La Sabana in 2012, Strategic Management at INALDE Business School in 2014, and a Pharmaceutical Market Access program at Universidad El Bosque in 2019. Additionally, Javier completed an English program at Universidad El Bosque from 2016 to 2017.
