Afra Alsammahi

Afra Alsammahi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as a Brand Designer as a freelancer. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Graphic Designer at Yatooq. In 2015, Afra founded Zan Agency and served as the Managing Director. At Zan Agency, they also took on the role of Creative Director from 2016 onwards. In their role as Creative Director, Afra was responsible for the creative direction of various marketing communication campaigns for government organizations, including the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development. In 2021, they worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University.

Afra Alsammahi has a Master of Science degree in Financial Management, which was obtained from Dublin City University between 2018 and 2020. Afra also holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media, earned from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University between 2011 and 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have acquired additional certifications, such as the Leading for Results Programme from INSEAD Executive Education (date not provided) and the Professional Trainer certification in 2016. Afra also completed the Empretec Entrepreneurship Program offered by UNCTAD in 2016.
