Farhana Rafique has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Finance Officer at American Express. In 2005, they joined Standard Chartered Bank as an Assistant Manager in Country Finance. From 2008 to 2014, they served as the Business Planning and Finance Manager to the Group CEO - Islamic Banking (Saadiq) at Standard Chartered Bank, where they were responsible for various financial reporting, budgeting, and strategy-related tasks. In 2015, Farhana ventured into entrepreneurship and became the Owner and Director of Zumeirah Foods Inc., setting up a franchise coffee shop in Montreal. Currently, they are working at Zand as the Business Performance Lead, focusing on developing the bank's performance reporting, fund transfer pricing, and financial controls infrastructure and framework.

Farhana Rafique completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Independent University, Bangladesh from the year 2000 to 2004. Farhana then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the same institution from 2006 to 2008. In 2012, they attended the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA) for further studies, obtaining a degree in Finance, General.
