Pi-En T.

Pi-En T. is a highly experienced nuclear engineering professional currently serving as a Sr Scientist at Zap Energy since January 2022, focusing on studying DD fusion neutrons from shear-flow stabilized Z-pinch plasma and acting as a Radiation Safety Officer. Prior roles include Radiation Physicist positions at Berkeley Lab and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, as well as Researcher at Japan Atomic Energy Agency, where significant contributions were made to the development of a radiation measurement system and the PHITS Monte Carlo radiation simulation code. With a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Master's from National Tsing Hua University, Pi-En T. has extensive research experience, including establishing protocols for boron neutron capture therapy clinical trials.
