Steve Richardson

Steve Richardson is a Senior Research Scientist at Zap Energy since November 2022, bringing extensive experience in the field of physics. Prior roles include Research Scientist at the Naval Research Laboratory from August 2011 to November 2022, and Postdoctoral Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory from February 2010 to August 2011. Earlier in their career, Steve served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center from December 2007 to December 2009, and as a Graduate Student at the College of William and Mary from 2002 to 2007, where Steve also held a position as a Summer Research Student at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2005. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Physics from William & Mary, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from George Mason University.
