Benjamin Howe

Benjamin Howe has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Benjamin started their career in 2004 as a Scout Platoon Leader in 2-9 Cavalry, where they were responsible for training and leading soldiers in direct support of brigade operations. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of Personnel Officer, overseeing organizational administration and personnel management.

In 2007, Benjamin joined The Shaw Group as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they designed instrumentation and control systems for various projects. In the same year, they also started working at 117th Space Battalion as a Space Support Team Operations Officer, ensuring the team's readiness for tactical space force enhancement in combat and contingency operations.

In 2010, Benjamin took on the role of Signal Officer/Assistant Operations Officer at 117th Space Battalion, where they provided staff coordination for communication and automation matters. Benjamin then became the Commercial Imagery Team Leader in 2011, supplying commercial satellite imagery and products to various government agencies and coalition nations.

In the same year, Benjamin joined Zap Engineering as an I&C Engineer, where they designed instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas plants. Overall, Benjamin has acquired a range of skills and experience in areas such as communication and automation, space operations, personnel management, and instrumentation and controls engineering.

Benjamin Howe completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2003. Benjamin then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Remote Sensing from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
