Gary Jacobs

Gary Jacobs started their work experience in 2007 at Fluor, where they worked as a Sr. Electrical Design Specialist, designing ductbank and manhole systems at a BP refinery. Gary also created models for duct bank systems, trays, and fiber routing. In 2010, they worked at AMEC as a Sr. Electrical Designer, and then at Jacobs as a Sr. Electrical and Instrumentation Design Specialist. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at WorleyParsons as an E & I Senior Designer. Jacobs then joined CB & I in 2014 as a Sr. Electrical Design Specialist, where they worked on the Freeport LNG project, designing substations, grounding and cable trays, security and street lighting, and duct banks. Gary worked at ICC Inc. as a Sr. Electrical Design Specialist from 2018 to 2019, and at Job Industrial Services, Inc. as a Sr. Electrical Designer from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they worked at M&I Electric as a Sr. Electrical designer on a contract basis. From 2020 to 2022, Jacobs was retired. Gary currently works as an I & E Designer at ZAP Engineering & Construction Services, Inc. since May 2022.

Gary Jacobs attended Wharton County Junior College from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Drafting Technology. Additionally, they completed a degree in Computer Technology at Control Data Institute, although the specific start and end years are unknown. Gary also earned an Associates Degree in Electronics from Oakland Community College. Finally, they returned to Wharton County Junior College to obtain another degree in Drafting Technology, without specifying the exact timeframe.
