Edmund Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Edmund is currently the Head of Product at Zapmap, where they lead the product management function and is responsible for defining and scaling their platform. Edmund also recruits, manages, and mentors the product and UX team while championing product thinking and user-centered design. Prior to this, Edmund worked as a Senior Platform Manager at Zapmap.
Before joining Zapmap, Edmund worked at Hargreaves Lansdown for many years, holding various roles. Edmund served as the Lead Product Manager, where they led the product function and worked with senior executives to transform the organization towards a product-led delivery model. Edmund also worked as a Senior Digital Product Manager, responsible for delivering and maintaining the award-winning iOS, Android, and iPad apps. Additionally, they were the Mobile & Digital Media Executive, proposing and coordinating new online and mobile developments.
Edmund's earlier roles at Hargreaves Lansdown include being a Senior Equity Dealer, where they executed client orders for equities, bonds, and unit trusts, and provided investment support. Edmund also worked as part of the Vantage Enquiries team, addressing client enquiries and administering their accounts, developing a strong writing style and a good knowledge of investment and financial markets.
Edmund Walsh attended Beaminster Comprehensive from 1997 to 2004. However, no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. Later, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business and Computing at the University of the West of England.
