Neil Smith

Neil Smith has over 15 years of work experience in software development. Neil is currently working as a Senior Software Developer at Zapmap since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a PHP Developer at Dext from February 2021 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Software Engineer at Edico Media from October 2019 to November 2020. Neil also has experience as a Technical Lead Developer at Travelopo from July 2015 to July 2019, where they played a key role in system migration and architecture. Neil worked as a PHP and .NET developer at Invitation Digital from November 2012 to April 2015 and as a Web Developer at Basekit from November 2009 to October 2012. Neil has a strong background in digital media and received a Microsoft award for their voluntary assistance in technical community groups. Neil has also worked as a Web and media streaming developer at Unique Media from September 2008 to June 2009 and as an Infrastructure developer at Coull Ltd from September 2006 to September 2008. Neil started their career as a Web developer at Hargreaves Lansdown in March 2006.

Neil Smith attended Loughborough University from 1986 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry.
