Remco Speekenbrink

Remco Speekenbrink has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Remco started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at IC10 B.V. where they gained hands-on experience in various projects. After completing their internship, they continued working at IC10 B.V. as a Junior Software Engineer and later as a Software Engineer. During this period, Remco focused more on web development.

Remco then moved on to work as a PHP Developer at DELTA Fiber Nederland, where they developed multiple solutions for OSS/BSS applications and implemented SCRUM methodologies. Remco also gained skills in PHP, Javascript, MySQL, Redis, Laravel, VueJS, Symfony, and Vagrant (Homestead).

Remco later joined Developers.nl, a contractor company specialized in software engineering. Remco worked on projects for Retail Unity B.V. and DELTA Fiber Nederland as a PHP Developer. Their responsibilities included implementing SCRUM methodologies and working with Test driven development and CI/CD pipelines.

As a Freelance PHP Developer at Freelance.nl, Remco worked on the platform's main framework, implementing a new design using PHP and Javascript.

Remco then joined vismedia.agency as a Laravel Developer, where they also worked on projects for Viital.io, a sister company. Remco's role involved developing applications and websites.

Remco further expanded their skills as a Software Engineer at Huboo Fulfilment, focusing on software development projects.

Most recently, Remco has been working as a Software Engineer at Delio, where they worked on software engineering projects.

Currently, they serve as a Senior PHP Developer at Zapmap.

Remco Speekenbrink pursued their education in a chronological manner. Remco started their academic journey with a degree in Software Engineering from Curio between 2015 and 2018. Following this, they enrolled at the University of South Wales from 2021 to 2025, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Games Development.
