Prior to this, Richard served as the CEO of StrattoOpencell, a multi-operator indoor mobile signal managed service provider. Richard oversaw the company's activities and focused on recurring revenue growth and operational excellence. Before that, Richard was the CEO of Stratto Ltd., where they built and launched an innovative in-building mobile connectivity service. In 2018, the company secured investment from Digital Colony to accelerate its growth. Richard also worked at Cisco Systems as part of the Sales and Business Development team. Richard joined Ubiquisys as the Director of Alliances and Partnerships, where they played a key role in establishing partnerships and expanding the company's sales operations. During their tenure, Ubiquisys became one of the fastest-growing companies in the tech industry. Richard started their career at Marconi PLC in various senior sales and business development positions, gaining extensive European and Asian commercial experience. Overall, Richard Bourne has demonstrated expertise in leadership, sales, business development, and strategic partnerships throughout their career.

Richard Bourne attended the University of Birmingham from 1990 to 1994 and graduated with a BEng & BCom degree. Richard studied Manufacturing Engineering & Economics during this time.
