Rob Cessac

Rob Cessac has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. Rob began their career in 1991 as a Medical Dosimetrist, CMD at Barnes-Jewish, Christian NE, St. Joseph SSM, and St. Johns Mercy. In 2000, they moved to OCI as a Software Engineer. Rob then worked as a Software Engineer at CMS, Inc. from 1997-2005. In 2005, they joined Elekta as a Product Manager, where they managed releases that integrated advanced technologies such as biological optimization, Monte Carlo algorithm, IMRT and VMAT. From 2010-2011, Rob worked as a Medical Physicist at Cancer Care Associates and Missouri Baptist Medical Center / Global Physics Solutions. From 2012-2020, they held various positions at Mevion Medical Systems, including Sr. Technical Product Manager, Manager of Customer Support and Commissioning, and Product Manager. Most recently, they have been the Director of Clinical Operations and Sr. Clinical Applications Engineer at ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc.

Rob Cessac has obtained a B.S. in Physics from Missouri University of Science and Technology, an M.S. in Health Physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
