Jhonathan Romero Fontalvo

Jhonathan Romero Fontalvo is the current Director, Professional Services & Founder at Zapata Computing. Jhonathan has also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Harvard University from September 2014 to February 2019, researching in new quantum simulation and quantum machine learning algorithms for chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Alán Aspuru-Guzik. Jhonathan has also worked as a Researcher at Universidad Nacional de Colombia from January 2015 to December 2015, where they worked on propagator methods for studying positron ionization in the Quantum and Computational Chemistry Group. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Universidad Nacional de Colombia from January 2010 to December 2013, working on propagator methods for multiple quantum species under the supervision of Prof. Andrés Reyes.

Jhonathan Romero Fontalvo has a PhD in Chemical Physics from Harvard University. Jhonathan also has an MS in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and a BS in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
