Dave Sturgeon

Dave Sturgeon has over 30 years of work experience in various financial roles. Dave is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Zapp Electric Vehicles since April 2023. Prior to this, they founded Quarterworld Capital in January 2021. Dave also worked at Central European Media Enterprises for a significant period, where they held multiple positions including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Acting Chief Financial Officer, Deputy Chief Financial Officer, CFO - Broadcasting, and Group Financial Controller. Before joining Central European Media Enterprises, they were the Head of Corporate Accounting at Equant. Dave started their career at Arthur Andersen as a Senior Manager and worked there for 12 years.

Dave Sturgeon attended the University of Oxford from 1987 to 1990, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. In November 1993, they also acquired the FCA certification from the ICAEW.
