Derek Fedel

Derek Fedel is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in systems development and network management. Currently serving as a Principal Systems Development Engineer at Zappos Family of Companies since January 2007, Derek has previously held positions including Senior Systems Development Engineer III and Systems Engineering Manager. Prior to Zappos, Derek was the Director of Network Development at SEO Industry from January 2002 to December 2006, where responsibilities included designing scalable networks for satellite offices and managing significant infrastructure moves. Earlier experience includes serving as a Network Administrator at IIAS, USA, from February 1998 to December 2001, overseeing the health and configuration of the Las Vegas headquarters network and upgrading the mail system.
