Edward Riede

Edward Riede is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Zappos Family of Companies since March 2017, Edward specializes in developing and maintaining AWS-based technical solutions, as well as participating in recruitment and mentorship initiatives. Prior roles include Lead Software Engineer at Zappos, where Edward focused on NGINX reverse proxy maintenance, and Lead Enterprise Architect at MGM Resorts International, responsible for designing SOA architecture for various applications. Edward's earlier experience includes significant contributions as a Software Architect at Aristocrat and as Director of IT at Global Gold Inc. Edward holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Computer Hardware from Kent State University, completed in 2001.
