Tasmin Ahmad's work experience includes various roles in software engineering and management positions. From 1989 to 1994, they worked as a Software Engineer at Rockwell Semiconductor Systems, where they developed data pumps for wireless technology products. From 1994 to 2001, they served as the Director of R&D at Allied Software Corporation, managing software research and development and quality assurance. From 2001 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Manager and later as the Director of Software Engineering at Zapways, Inc., where they designed and developed automated systems for airlines. In 2007, they briefly served as the CEO of STCS (Pvt) LTD, overseeing various departments. In 2013, they founded sajda.com and served as the CEO. Finally, in 2021, they returned to Zapways, Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering.

Tasmin Ahmad completed their education history as follows: they attended Aitchison College, Lahore from 1981 to 1983, where they earned a degree in Science (F.Sc). They then went on to study at UC Irvine from 1984 to 1988, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science. Tasmin Ahmad continued their education at UC Irvine from 1988 to 1992, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science.
