The Zariya Foundation was established on the occasion of Mother Teresa’s centenary birthday with the purpose of improving the conditions of the poor and inspiring others to implement 'Love in Action'.

As a tribute to her years of devoted service to the poorest of the poor, the Zariya Foundation has decided to produce a charity film based on her life’s work.

The foundation is domiciled in and has been registered with the Registry of Commerce of the Canton of Basel-Stadt. It is a non-profit Swiss foundation. It has been granted tax exempt status and is under the supervision of the Swiss Federal Department of the Interior.
