Niels Grewe

Niels Grewe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Niels is currently employed at Zasta as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at project44 as a Software Architecture Consultant from June 2021 to March 2022.

Before their position at project44, Niels served as the Head of Software Development at Ocean Insights from March 2020 to January 2021. Niels also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Ocean Insights from February 2019 to March 2020.

Earlier in their career, Niels held a Software Developer role at FutureTV Group from November 2016 to January 2019. Niels also worked as a Software Developer at Brainstorm Mobile Solutions from November 2012 to November 2016.

Additionally, Niels has experience in research as a Researcher at the University of Rostock. Their research focused on the philosophical foundations of biomedical ontologies as part of the "GoodOD" research project. Niels was also involved in teaching classes on ontology and ancient philosophy during this time.

Niels started their professional journey as an Intern at Google Summer of Code in 2010.

Niels Grewe completed their Master of Arts degree in Philosophy and Greek Philology from Universität Rostock between the years 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and German Studies from the same university, studying between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, they spent a year at the University of Malta in 2005-2006, during which they focused on Philosophy and Greek Philology.
