Chris Butler has a diverse work experience, starting from their role as an Associate Programmer at Kuju Entertainment in 2008. Chris later worked as a Junior Programmer at Headstrong Games and as a Software Engineer at Criterion Games. Chris also freelanced as a Coder at Honeyslug and provided Work for Hire and Contract based programming services as a Director/Freelance Programmer at Polygon Hearts Ltd. Chris then joined INTERIOR/NIGHT as a Pipeline Engineer and eventually became a Senior Software Engineer. Chris most recently held the position of Lead Programmer at ZA/UM.

Chris Butler attended the University of Derby from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree with a 2:1 classification in Computer Games Programming, focusing on Games Programming. Chris then pursued further education at The Open University from 2014 to 2028, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
