Kay Ross

Kay Ross has extensive work experience in the field of technology and programming. Their most recent role was as the Engineering Director at ZA/UM starting from July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Lead at Splash Damage from November 2021 to May 2023. From 2013 to 2021, Kay held various positions at Frontier Developments including Principal Programmer, Senior Programmer, and Programmer. Kay also worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Lancaster University from October 2012 to April 2013. Before that, they were a PHD Candidate with the HEP Group at Lancaster University from October 2008 to June 2012, where they conducted research and assisted undergraduates. Additionally, Kay has volunteering experience as an Operational Volunteer with St. John Ambulance Lancashire from August 2002 to February 2012. Kay also worked as a Java coder for the Lancaster Particle Physics Package at the Department of Physics, University of Lancaster from April 2007 to October 2008.

Kay Ross completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in High Energy Particle Physics from Lancaster University between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained an MPhys degree in Physics with Astrophysics and Cosmology from the same university, which they finished between 2004 and 2008.
