Todd McWhirter

Todd McWhirter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in optical transport and networking. Currently serving as Director of Wavelength Architecture and Engineering at Zayo Group since July 2012, Todd oversees the evaluation and certification of optical transport hardware and software, manages layer 1 network planning, and directs pre-sale DWDM design and cost validation. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Optical & IP Solutions Engineering at AboveNet, where management of engineering teams for technical design and cost validation was key, and Network Engineer at the University of Washington, responsible for a multi-campus fiber optic network. Todd also held a Project Manager position at Vialight, focusing on Fiber-to-the-Home installations. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Information Systems and Finance from the University of Washington, Todd combines technical expertise with strong business acumen.
